1. Is there any mandatory information I need to provide while booking a ticket?
Yes, very essential that you provide us your correct mobile number as Deccan will be sending you a confirmation SMS or if incase there is a change in the schedule an SMS alert will be sent to you. It is also important that you give us an alternate contact number, e-mail address and a valid postal address.
2. Can I reserve my seat numbers?
No. Since all seats except one in the aircraft will be aisle seats, there is no mechanism to reserve seat numbers in advance. Seat numbers shall be assigned only at the check in counter at each airport.
3. What types of credit cards do you accept for payments?
Deccan accepts all Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
4. Can I block a ticket?
No you cannot block a ticket on Deccan Shuttle service.
5. Do I get a receipt for the money I have paid for my ticket?
The email confirmation which you get at the time of booking is considered to be a valid receipt for the payment made. No separate receipt is issued.
6. How do I get my ticket, if I have not printed it out during booking but I have the ticket number?
You will be required to produce the PNR number at the ticketing counter at the airport. The Customer Service Agent at the Ticketing Counter shall issue an e-ticket which you can carry to the check in counter inside the airport.
7. What do I do if I need to book a large number of tickets, say for 9 guests?
The booking mechanism shall remain the same for any number of tickets up to a maximum of X tickets. For more than X tickets please call our contact center at 1860 500 4050 or call one of our Travel Agents.
8. How are tickets priced for children and infants?
Children below 2years of age will be charged the complete fare with one reserved seat.
9. What is the break-up of the ticket fare?
The fare is split into the following components:
Base Fare
Passenger Service Fee
User Development Fee (if any charged by the airport of departure)
Service tax and any other government taxes that may be applicable
10. How do I check the availability on the flight?

11. Is there a concessional fare for senior citizens, students, armed forces etc?
No, the fare is same for each of the above categories.
12. How many guests can I book on one ticket number?

14. Where will the flight timings be displayed?
Since this is a non scheduled operation, the flight timings shall not be displayed. The timings displayed on our website www.deccanair.com shall only be approximate timings that are subject to change.
15. You mention that this is a non-scheduled flight. What does that mean and will I be subject to the aircraft not departing on time?
This is a regular and daily service being offered by Deccan through contracts signed with different authorities. Being a non-scheduled operator we do not publish exact times however the aircraft will depart at the estimated times.
16. How many daily flights to Coochbehar and Jamshedpur?
Three flights everyday to Jamshedpur and one flight everyday to Coochbehar.
17. Do the flights operate all seven days in a week?
No we operate 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday.
